Ian ‘The Clown’ says what a wonderful occasion to see on the last day old and new faces joining in and taking part in all the activities. Some people returned on Sunday for the third time with more family and friends and actually volunteering to help with the activities.
Whether your forte was face painting, nail decoration, hair braiding, making a Yorkshire rose from a tissue, carpentry – some great planes and trains, biscuit decoration, juggling balls, bouncy castle or playing games.
It was fun for all and not forgetting the refreshments supplied by the sponsors and hosts of volunteer cake and bun makers on a day everything was 'Free'
It was a sight to be seen during the 3 day event parents, children and even grandparents getting fully involved.
It was a great family day, one to be remembered and cherished by all the volunteers and visitors alike. |
